The key to a happy dog is regular enrichment that allows them to engage in activities that are naturally stimulating to them such as exposing, sniffing, playing, scavenging, chasing and more. Dogs that engage in these behaviors are mentally, emotionally and physically satisfied.
This is more than doggy daycare! This is all about YOUR DOG and your dog's needs! We do not take more than 1 client's dog at a time for Day Camp (or possibly 2 well matched dogs for socializing).
Your dog can spend 2 hours time with a trainer engaging in activities such as agility, recreation, tricks, brain games, scent work and more. Your dog will come home happy and fulfilled!
You will receive a share folder of pictures and videos taken during your dog's time with us!
* Please note: Day Camps are very popular so please allow extra time for scheduling.
This is a great solution for the experienced dog owner who feels comfortable sending their dog with the trainer for up to 90 minutes of training, exercise, mental stimulation and more. Drop your dog off at our home location or have your dog picked up (an extra fee may apply depending on your location). Your dog will spend improving his or her leash skills, impulse control, recall/come, stay, down, drop or place with a 15 minute recap with you at the end of the session.
You will also receive a share folder of pictures and videos taken during your dog's time with us!
Take & Train Day Camp Training is only offered for dogs that have completed at least 1 private session or had a 30-45 minute consultation to determine if your dog is right for this program. Not for dogs with serious behavioral issues.
* Please note: Due to our work load, we may need extra time for scheduling.
A well balanced dog is exposed to a variety of stimuli and often this socialization can have an impact on how your dog handles various situations and conditions. If your dog could benefit from exposure to new sight, sounds, locations and experiences, ask about us about our Take and Train Socialization sessions. Our trainer will pick up your dog from your location (local only) and spend 60 minutes working on your dog's exposure in a new environment while increasing your dog's confidence.
This program is only offered for dogs that have completed at least 1 private session or had a 30-45 minute consultation to determine if your dog is right for this program. Not for dogs with serious behavioral issues.
If you have a dog that gets anxious in new situations, he or she can benefit from our confidence building games and tools. Using only positive reward techniques, your dog will learn to focus on something fun and meaningful. Although confidence building can take time, let us help you in that journey to give your dog a better sense of self.
We offer confidence building techniques through both private lessons and day camp training.
"I want to thank you for showing my dog Mylee what a hike is all about. She would have never had that opportunity without you. She loves the exercise, meeting other dogs and doing something totally different than what she does in a typical day. She always comes home happy and tired. But happy is the key word. I love that she has this experience and that she has it with YOU. I feel totally comfortable when she’s with you as I know that she’s in great hands!! An extra bonus is that she gets a natural refresher course on walking and listening while having fun." - Debbie T.
"Jennifer is the absolute best dog trainer. Not only does she work hand in hand with us, she takes my Australian Shepherd puppy for day trainings. She will take him to different places introducing him to many new environments and teach him how to adapt. Normally, I would never just hand my dog over to someone for the day, However I feel very confident in her training and one of the best parts is, she sends me pics and video throughout the day so I can see his progress. Hands down she is the best and my Aussie just loves her!!!" - Shannon S.
